Local accounts detail that the plane collided with a car and a motorcycle, each occupied by one person. Among the casualties, one notable victim identified was Johari Harun, a 54-year-old Pahang state assemblyman and a new Barisan Nasional candidate in last year’s general election.
Initial information from the civil aviation authority reveals that the aircraft established contact with the Subang Air Traffic Control Tower at 2:47 p.m. local time (2:47 a.m. ET), obtaining landing clearance by 2:48 p.m. Smoke was observed at the crash site at 2:51 p.m. local time, yet no distress call was transmitted by the aircraft.
Forensic teams are presently collecting remains, which will be transported to Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital in Klang for post-mortem examinations and identification procedures, according to Selangor Police Head Hussein Omar Khan.
Khan also affirmed that an investigation into the incident will be conducted by the Ministry of Transport’s military division.
