ICC have announced the schedule for the Women’s T20 World Cup in South Africa next year with Bangladesh and Ireland filling the last two spots after the qualifiers in the 10-team tournament.

The opening match of the eighth ICC Women’s T20 World Cup, between hosts South Africa and Sri Lanka, will take place on February 10, 2023. The tournament matches will be played in Cape Town, Paarl, and Gqeberha, with the knockout rounds taking place there.

The final will take place on February 26, 2023, with February 27 set aside as a backup day in case there are significant play-related delays on the scheduled date.
